しあわせな場所　The Happiert Place

小さい頃、父と遊んだ海。
波の音。海の香り。空を飛ぶ鳥たち。
そのどれもがかけがえのないものだ。
大人になりひとりであの海を訪れた。
昔と変わらず優しく僕を包み込んでくれた。
海を眺めているとあの頃の父の笑顔が浮かんできた。
『お父さん。いつもありがとう。大好きだよ。』
そう、心の中で呟いた。
これからもずっと僕のしあわせな場所だ。

The sea where I played with my father when I was little.
The sound of the waves. The smell of the sea. The birds flying in the sky.
All of them are irreplaceable.
As an adult, I visited that sea alone.
It embraced me as gently as it had in the past.
When I looked at the sea, I could see my father's smile from those days.
'Father, thank you for everything.  I love you.'
That's what I whispered in my heart.
This will always be my happy place.
