生き物との暮らし

最近、ギリシャリクガメを飼いました。
名前はボンちゃん。
大好きなONE PIECEのキャラクターから命名。
小松菜が大好物で毎朝手のひらに乗せてエサやり。
僕の顔をジーッと眺めて挨拶してくれます。
動物園で働きはじめてから、水生生物を育てています。
メダカ、金魚、ウーパールーパー、ドラゴンフィッシュ、パロット、ヤドカリなど。
毎朝、みんなのエサやりからスタート。
ペット飼育は未経験だったから、ペットショップの店員さんに飼育方法を教えてもらい、一からのスタートでした。
時間が経つにつれて愛情が湧くのと同時に、
命の大切さをより強く感じる日々です。
元気に長生きしてほしいな。

Living with Creatures.

I recently adopted a Greek tortoise.
Her name is Bon-chan.
I named her after my favorite ONE PIECE character.
He loves komatsuna (Japanese mustard spinach) and I feed him every morning with it in the palm of my hand.
He greets me by gazing at my face.
Since I started working at the zoo, I have been raising aquatic animals.
Killifish, goldfish, whoopers, dragon fish, parrotfish, hermit crabs, and more.
I started by feeding them all every morning.
I had no experience in pet keeping, so I had to start from scratch with a pet store employee who taught me how to keep them.
As time went by, I grew to love them more and more,
I feel the importance of life more strongly every day.
I hope he will live a long and healthy life.
